The Confidence Level corresponds to a global rate on an email list.
Today, Icypeas identifies 3 levels of confidence :
- 99% confidence level: The email has been verified by 3 sources. So these email addresses that have been verified three times have an average bounce rate inferior to 1%.
- 97% confidence level: The email has been verified by 2 sources. So these email addresses that have been verified three times have an average bounce rate inferior to 5%.
-90% confidence level: The email has been verified by 1 source. So these email addresses that have been verified three times have an average bounce rate inferior to 38%.
To identify these confidence levels, we have done our calculations on a globality rate on 300 lines with up to 2-3 sources.
